Your role:

The MGA Insurance Reconciliation Specialist is a key contributor in overseeing the monthly bordereaux reconciliation process for our MGA clients. This role demands strong financial acumen, advanced Excel proficiency, and effective communication with both clients and U.S.-based and offshore team members. The specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of billing and payment records, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and supporting the team’s overall efficiency and client satisfaction.

All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.

After 3 months you will:

  • Manage and reconcile monthly bordereaux submissions, ensuring accuracy between client data, internal systems, and cashbooks.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between expected billing and actual payments, maintaining detailed audit logs.
  • Act as the main liaison for reconciliation issues between internal teams and MGA clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Investigate and resolve billing variances, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Track and document client interactions, KPIs, and outcomes using CRM tools and client platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address client challenges and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Support offshore teams with feedback and guidance to improve processing accuracy and integration.
  • Contribute to team meetings, retrospectives, and continuous process improvements to strengthen team performance and culture.

What you need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial reconciliation roles.
  • 2–3 years of insurance industry experience required (MGA).
  • 1+ year of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance preferred.
  • Experience working with MGAs and bordereaux processes strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (including functions, lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Process-focus and strong attention-to-detail.
  • Technological proficiency - ability to learn, utilize, and navigate a variety of client and internal systems.

Your Compensation:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position, and the salary range for most locations for this role is $16.00-$21.00 per hour.

The salary range may vary based on experience and on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
