ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Middle (Strong) Java Developer in Ukraine, Poland, or Croatia.
ABOUT PROJECT
This project focuses on developing advanced software solutions for electricity markets that help stabilize the energy grid. The platform enables integration of renewable energy sources, battery storage, and innovative technologies like virtual power plants and batteries. The solution empowers energy providers and consumers to actively contribute to the energy transition using a reliable and scalable platform.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of commercial experience with Java
- Strong track record of working with Java core, OOP/OOD knowledge, design patterns
- Knowledge of Spring framework, IOC, templates
- Experience with ORM, Hibernate (Spring Data JPA)
- Deep understanding of Java-based application servers (e.g., Tomcat, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, PostgreSQL
- Upper-Intermediate English level
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements
- Analyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteria
- Evaluate and coordinate tasks’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager
- Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions
- Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications
- Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project
