Job description
About us
TruffleHog is a popular open source tool used by security researchers all over the world to find leaky API keys and responsibly disclose them to affected companies. This provides income through bug bounty platforms like HackerOne to individuals that may otherwise have a hard time finding employment. This also prevents breaches from occurring, which can be very costly for companies to resolve.
When we founded Truffle Security Co. in February of 2021, we committed to continue to grow a community with security researchers around the world, and continue to provide free and open resources to support those that make the world more secure. We have a strong commitment to open source and to the community. We’re looking for help supporting our mission to prevent leaking credentials and build the best products for machine identity protection.
At Truffle, you’ll have the opportunity to join a fully remote, collaborative team contributing to meaningful advancements in cybersecurity.
About the role
We’re looking for our first Partnerships Manager to build and scale our partner ecosystem from the ground up. You’ll own the full lifecycle of strategic partnerships—including technology alliances, resellers, MSSPs, and cloud marketplaces. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to define and execute a partner strategy that drives revenue, pipeline, and customer value.
What you’ll be working on
- Identify, negotiate, and launch new GTM and technology partnerships
- Manage and grow relationships with key partners (e.g., SIEMs, IAM platforms, DevSecOps tools, CSPs)
- Build joint value propositions, partner enablement programs, and co-marketing initiatives
- Drive partner-sourced pipeline and influence partner-assisted opportunities
- Collaborate with Product to shape the integration roadmap and co-development plans
- Track and report on partner performance, KPIs, and impact on revenue goals
- Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and ecosystem shifts (e.g., Zero Trust, cloud-native security, identity)
- Represent Truffle at partner summits, joint events, and industry conferences
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, business development, or technology alliances
- Background in security, infrastructure, DevOps, or IT ecosystems
- Familiarity with cloud and identity platforms (e.g., AWS, Okta, CrowdStrike, HashiCorp)
- Proven success launching integration partnerships or channel programs that delivered measurable results
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and relationship management skills
- A self-starter mindset—strategic thinker who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves
- Clear, compelling communicator—especially in partner-facing materials and conversations
Bonus points
- Experience with cloud marketplaces (AWS Marketplace, Azure, GCP)
- Prior work with cybersecurity MSSPs, VARs, or GSIs
- Strong understanding of API integrations, and ability to articulate technical value propositions
- Familiarity with partner tools (e.g. Crossbeam, Reveal, Salesforce)
