About The Conti Group
We were established in 2017 to grow companies and ventures across diverse markets and geographies. We provide strategic support services to our portfolio companies, which currently include investments in real estate, construction, engineering, technology, biotech, and renewable energy.
Our holdings include Conti Enterprises, Conti Federal Services, Conti Development, and Tenna. Conti Enterprises, founded in 1991, started as a construction company and now focuses on transportation, power, dams, major civil projects, and telecommunications for public and private clients. Conti Federal Services, established in 1998, completes federal government projects like flood control and international contracts. Tenna, a technology company (formerly BuildSourced, renamed in 2017), specializes in industrial asset tracking and analytics. It develops IoT-powered equipment platforms and connected equipment solutions that allow customers to manage mixed assets on a single platform. This involves designing and implementing scalable back-end code, microservices, databases, and APIs, as well as developing full-stack features.
Our history dates back to 1906, when Tony Conti started T.N. Conti & Sons as a family-owned construction business. We diversified over decades, expanding into environmental contracting in 1979 and starting solar industry projects in 2002. We also became a founding investor in Edge Therapeutics in 2011, entering biotechnology, and a founding General Partner in East Light Capital Fund in 2017. Conti Solar was sold in two phases, in 2018 and 2021.
