Job description

People Development Partner.

As a People Development Partner, you’ll drive employee growth by leading development projects across the entire learning and development lifecycle. From initial concept to successful implementation, you’ll focus on key areas like career progression, performance reviews, and talent development. You’ll also design and deliver company-wide training initiatives and leadership development programs, ensuring our employees have the skills and knowledge needed to achieve our business goals. This role involves collaborating with all levels of the organization to create tailored development solutions and empower professional growth.

Whilst this is a full-time role, it is for a fixed term (maternity leave cover).

Education, experience and training.

Higher education in Human Resources or similar field, or equivalent work experience (3+ years) in HR, where projects are oriented towards employee’s growth & development, is desirable.

Technical and computer skills.

You’ll need to have intermediate computer skills, while knowledge of the Google Suite tools is helpful - we are using Gmail and Google products to create & organize work. Part of our technical stack & in your use every day are also our HRIS BambooHR, Culture Amp and AbsorbLMS - so it would be great if you had experience with any of them.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Excellent verbal and written English language & communication skills - we are a global company and English is our common language
  • Excellent project & time management skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently
  • Ability to identify problem statement and produce a valid solution
  • Effective organisation skills, with the ability to switch between operational and more strategic tasks
  • Ability to design and run group trainings (mostly virtual) and facilitate discussions, so good presentation skills & willingness to deliver such sessions are a must
  • Familiarity with people development principles, career progression, high-performance enablement, leadership development & wider practises in Learning & Development
  • Passion & curiosity about learning & development, behavior science and learning content creation
  • Growth mindset, with always looking to develop & upskill
  • Tech-savvy with readiness to try, explore and fully utilize new software
  • Trustworthy and responsible nature
  • Agile, helpful and proactive attitud

Responsibilities.

  • Managing & leading learning & development initiatives, such as career progression, leadership development and performance reviews.
  • Developing and championing a forward-thinking learning and development strategy aligned with the values and goals of Linnworks.
  • Building strong relationships with department heads, managers, and employees to understand their needs and challenges to provide tailored learning solutions.
  • Creating engaging, and innovative solutions, including performance reviews, development programs, manager resources & career progression frameworks
  • Creating & curating training materials and lead & facilitate training sessions for both managers and employees.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning, feedback, curiosity, and innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborating and working closely with other members of the people team to make sure everyone’s up to date the people development initiatives.
  • Staying abreast with industry trends, methodologies, and technology to implement best practices in learning and development.
  • Continuously developing your own personal and professional skills
