Associate Business Analyst

📍 UK, Remote

As an Associate Business Analyst your role will be to support our Finance and Operations teams with insightful analysis, reporting, and process improvements. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career — ideally with around 3 years’ experience — who’s eager to learn, ask questions, and grow their skills in a dynamic tech business.

You’ll help us understand key business trends, uncover inefficiencies, and support smarter decision-making — while building your capabilities in analytics, SaaS metrics, and financial forecasting.

K ey Responsibilities:

  • Assist with analysing business and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Support the development of dashboards and visual reports using Power BI

  • Help create and deliver regular reports

  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes through data gathering and prep

  • Support the review and improvement of internal processes, especially around reporting and decision support

  • Work with Salesforce to extract and analyse data on sales, revenue, and pipeline activity

  • Work closely with teams across Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to understand business needs

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and sprint cycles

  • Carry out ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and performance reviews

  • Document your analysis methods and ensure clean, traceable reporting

Experience, attitudes & core skills:

  • Around 3 years of professional experience, including at least one prior role in a business analys t, operations analyst, or data-focused position
  • Has experience using Power BI (or another BI tool), and ideally has Salesforce exposure
  • Is confident with Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with large datasets
  • Is motivated, inquisitive, and a self-starter — someone who enjoys digging into data to understand the “why’
  • Communicates clearly and works well with different stakeholders
  • Is eager to grow — and open to feedback, coaching, and trying new things

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with SaaS or e-commerce
  • Exposure to budgeting or forecasting processes
