Join our team as a DDC/PLC Engineer to design, program, and implement automated control systems for HVAC and heat recovery plants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Technology, or related field
- Extensive experience in DDC/PLC programming and automation systems design, preferably within the HVAC/BMS
- At least 3 years of experience with Climatix/Desigo series from Siemens is required
- Experience with industrial PLC from Siemens and knowledge of STEP7, TIAPORTAL, PCS7, WinCC is highly preferable
- Proficiency in DDC/PLC programming languages such as Siemens CFC and IEC61131 (LD, ST, FB, SFC, IL)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work with challenging deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of BACnet, industrial communication protocols and interfaces, network technologies
- Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
- Design and develop DDC/PLC programs based on project requirements
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of DDC/PLC-based systems
- Maintain and upgrade existing software and hardware to ensure operational efficiency
- Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to integrate DDC/PLC systems with other automated systems
- Document DDC/PLC programming and configuration details for maintenance and future reference
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and end-users
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in DDC/PLC technology and applications to drive continuous improvement
- Design, Test, Debug, and commission Electrical panel
- Provide detailed documentation (Controls Philosophy, Description of Operation, Risk Assessment, User Manual, FAT, SAT, etc
