About the team
Deal Pricing is a dedicated global function that provides deal pricing expertise, financial insights and deal support for negotiated users to Stripeβs global Go-to-Market teams. We work to ensure deals create economic value for Stripe by establishing the deal commercial framework for a scaling sales organization, actively supporting large and strategic deals and providing pricing insights and feedback to sales, finance and product leaders. Deal Pricing frequently works with cross-functional business partners across Operations, Finance & Strategy and Product and there is constant collaboration with Deal Pricing colleagues across all regions. AMER Deal Pricing covers teams in the United States, Canada and Latin America and are located in Stripe offices and remote locations across the region.
What youβll do
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our Deal Pricing Tooling and Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to build modeling tools that will be used by the entire sales organization to optimize revenue and increase deal velocity. The ideal candidate will help develop, maintain, and enhance the deal pricing tools that drive our deal pricing decisions and financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, GTM, and pricing strategy teams to review pricing strategies, provide and test requirements, and support Stripeβs Quote2Cash systems
- Build financial tools to model out deal economics of our payment and software portfolio
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in our pricing strategies
- Work cross-functionally to train and enable sales to use our tools effectively
- Maintain and triage tooling related questions, enhancement requests, and bug fixes
- Establish key business metrics and KPIs to measure health of the business, while proactively highlighting areas of risks and opportunity
- Help optimize existing dashboards and analytical tools for better performance and usability

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of financial modeling experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or banking industry
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Google Sheets/Excel, or Tableau)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Finance-minded with strong operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives
- Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills to present complex data in an understandable format
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
- Programming skills in JavaScript and Salesforce
- Familiarity with financial metrics, pricing strategies, and deal structures
- Understanding of database concepts and data manipulation techniques
- Experience working with different roles including sales, engineering, product management
- Knowledge of dashboard development and interactive reporting
