Principal Project Manager

Job description

Suvoda is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Product Team! This individual will be someone who has a strong background in developing project plan scopes, has experience working with stakeholders, and holds a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

Within the Suvoda Product team, the Project Manager position has a standardized set of responsibilities. Our Project Managers function as Technical Program Managers who regularly serve in multiple capacities, including Agile Practitioner, Project Manager, Release Manager, Tools Administrator, and Efficiency Consultant.

We are open to fully remote candidates across Romania for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plan with scope, milestones, schedules, and resources
  • Track project progress and report project status to all stakeholders
  • Manage and track changes to scope, priorities, schedules and resources
  • Work closely with development and QA managers to coordinate task schedule and resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and maintain full visibility of multiple projects
  • Anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
  • Identify and mitigate any potential issue that may impact the deliverables of software releases
  • Work with development and QA managers to streamline and refine practices
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Familarity with project management concepts, principles, and practices
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and scaled agile using industry standard methodologies
  • Ability to manage projects of large scope and high complexity
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability of influencing without authority

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in managing software development projects
