PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works within the Product team and reports to the Director of Product Management.  The responsibility of the position is ownership of the Employee Health product within our Healthcare market including:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customers to build a strategic roadmap that grows market share, improves customer experience and drives loyalty.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners, translating clinical and business needs into technical requirements, and explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Make data driven decisions to prioritize deliverables based on diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick and creative time-to-market solutions.
  • Document product specifications
  • Collaborate with R&D to build prototype functionality.
  • Consult on and deliver clinically based best practice solutions, adhering to HIPAA, GDDPR and other health regulatory requirements.
  • Key contact for product development and testing questions/issues and Helpdesk questions relating to the Employee Health Product.
  • Resource to Consulting for implementation support.
  • Collaborate cross functionality to enable stakeholders, including release communications, training for internal and external stakeholders, workflow and best practice recommendations.
  • Feature comparison experience
  • Working Knowledge of technical tools such as Relational Database Management Tools (SQL or Oracle), Web Service Utilities (using SOAP and / or REST API’s), SSO Platforms (ADFS, Shibboleth, Ping Federate, etc).

Additionally, work with the product team on general product improvements and projects as required.  Some cross-functional work in other areas of the product may be required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience in product management
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies including RESTful API’s
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Employee or Occupational health, ideally within a hospital setting is an asset
  • Knowledge of OSHA, CDC, FDA and other regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with an EHS or healthcare software solution is an asset
  • Experience writing technical requirements for solution development is an asset
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical to the success of this candidate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing, RN, LPN and/or other clinical designation or Bachelors Degree in computer Science or equivalent
