Position Overview
The Project Manager executes standard deployment projects independently while developing expertise in RetailNext’s deployment processes and building customer relationships. This role serves as the foundation of the PMO team, handling the majority of routine deployments while growing toward more complex responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Lead planning and execution of deployment projects from start to finish.
- Be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring open, clear, and proactive communication.
- Track milestones, budgets, and resources to deliver on time and within scope.
Logistics & Coordination
- Manage logistics including site assessments, equipment delivery, installation coordination, and vendor scheduling.
- Resolve day-to-day deployment challenges efficiently and escalate complex issues as needed.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze project outcomes and share lessons learned to contribute to better processes.
Vendor & Process Oversight
- Coordinate with third-party installation vendors, ensuring schedules align and proposals meet expectations.
- Monitor vendor performance and address quality or timing concerns promptly.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 2+ years in project coordination or management, especially in operational or deployment environments.
- Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and solid stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing logistics, vendor relationships, and multitasking in dynamic projects.
- (Beneficial) Exposure to retail tech or hardware deployments.
- (Beneficial) Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.

- Standard Deployments (70%): Store implementations, routine processes
- Medium Complexity (25%): Store rollouts, multi-location coordination
- Learning Projects (5%): Exposure to complex deployments under guidance /(when required)
