Job Description
In a nutshell
As a Project Manager - Release Management, you will play a key role in defining the scope, timelines, resources, manage cross-functional planning, lead collaboration across business and IT teams, resolve roadblocks, provide dashboards and reports, and act as point of contact for rollout updates with the stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Define transversal project scope in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with multiple business and technical teams to ensure smooth rollout.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership
- Facilitate collaboration between business users, DPMs, Product Owners, and Non-NG SPOCs.
- Lead project meetings and workshops to align stakeholders on priorities and progress.
- Resolve conflicts, remove roadblocks, and ensure cross-team communication is effective.
- Raise work item/change with QA/Dev Managers based on the necessity.
- Timeline & Deliverable Management
- Track progress against timelines and ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure quality and compliance standards are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for all transversal rollout communications.
- Provide regular status reports and dashboards to stakeholders and management.
- Gather feedback from business stakeholders to refine plans and execution strategies.
- Clearly distinguish communication approaches between internal and external stakeholders, especially regarding technical detail and relevance
- Production Rollout Support
- Coordinate go-live activities and ensure smooth transitions into the production environment.
- Manage post-rollout reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement plans.
