We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Agile development environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products throughout the development life-cycle. Your responsibilities will include participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, where you will champion quality as a top priority.
Your activities will include:
Identify regression scenarios from functional test cases and automate them using defined frameworks and data strategies.
Design, code, and maintain automated scripts, functions, and libraries to streamline testing processes and reduce manual tasks.
Collaborate with development and database teams to troubleshoot complex technical or end-user scenarios.
Generate suitable test data to validate critical requirements and business rules, exposing regressive defects.
Test REST APIs with JSON/XML data using tools such as Swagger, Postman, and/or SoapUI.
Plan, drive, and develop automation frameworks while building smoke and regression suites.
Utilize exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to prepare release notes and end-user documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#.
Experience with CI tools such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, or Github.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies, with demonstrable experience in Agile environments.
Experience with front-end automation testing tools Playwright.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
