Job description

We are on the hunt for someone special to join our team – a person that goes beyond the ordinary bug finder and brings real value to the table!

Our tech stack is built around React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript. We are working with startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diverse and exciting challenges while crafting innovative solutions. Our focus lies mainly in manual testing, with special attention given to acceptance, visual and API testing.

Salary: PLN 8.000 - 14.000 + VAT (B2B)

  • Required: min. 2 years of commercial experience, knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle, experience in exploratory tests
  • Offer: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), flexible working hours, full-time position, long-term contract, Scrum Teams, and more
  • Tools you’ll use: Slack, GSuite, Jira, Miro and Figma, Confluence and GitHub, BrowserStack, Postman/Altair GraphQL or similar, Apple MacBook Pro, Testiny

Your future tasks and duties:

  • Participating in the design and implementation of modern business applications for external clients,
  • ​​Manual testing, building test scenarios, test cases, user scenarios, and bug reporting
  • Focusing on quality-oriented rather than defect-oriented testing,
  • Promoting and defending the quality in the whole development process,
  • Working closely with Developers, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner, and Product Designers to assure high quality,
  • Executing test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences,
  • Proposing and implementing more efficient testing procedures

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

  • Min. 2 years of experience in web testing
  • Understanding that testing is a process and not only a stage of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Experience in testing API with corresponding tools (ex. Postman or Altair GraphQL)
  • Knowledge about Cross-browsertesting and RWD testing
  • Familiarity with project management tools (ex. Jira or Linear) for task management, test case creation and day to day work
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) or non-relational databases (MongoDB)
  • Fluent work with Dev-Tools

About you - Soft Skills:

  • Good command of English (min. B2), excellent command of Polish (min. C1) is required
  • Knowledge hungry - with eagerness to learn and taking on challenges
  • Detail-oriented and quality-centered approach to software development
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Problem-solving way of thinking
  • Solid communication skills and not being afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Open-minded to new ideas and perspectives
  • Experience in cooperation with the client
  • Knowledge of why MVP is important and regardless of quick delivery times you want to do a good job at a high quality level

Nice to have:

  • ISEB/ISTQB certificate
  • Understanding of UI/UX aspects in web applications
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing
