Overview

We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Coordinator who will play a hands-on role in supporting the full-cycle recruiting efforts for a rapidly growing company in the upstream oil and gas sector. The Recruiting Coordinator will support and enhance our client’s recruitment operations by coordinating candidate communications, scheduling, and logistics, and assisting with process improvement across the hiring lifecycle. Experience in oil and gas (upstream or midstream) is strongly preferred. This is a remote position working mostly MST and CST hours. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Please note that we cannot work C2C.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to manage day-to-day recruiting operations and drive hiring outcomes
  • Coordinate candidate communications, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, and follow-ups
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of job postings, candidate data, and documentation across systems (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn, job boards)
  • Assist with sourcing qualified candidates using job boards, referrals, and industry-specific tools
  • Track candidate progress and status updates; provide timely reporting on recruiting metrics and pipeline activity
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience by maintaining professional, responsive, and respectful communication throughout the hiring process
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts, including campus or industry-specific outreach
  • Help standardize recruiting workflows, improve documentation, and implement best practices
  • Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders, maintaining alignment and follow-through on hiring needs

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 5+ years of recruiting coordination or full-cycle recruiting experience; experience in a small company or startup environment preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities with urgency and discipline
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Experience working in or recruiting for the upstream or midstream oil and gas industry is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and common HR tech tools
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with limited supervision
