TITLE: Regional Marketing Manager, Asia - EdTech

Locations: Indonesia (Jakarta) or Thailand (Bangkok). Remote.

Our mobile English test (Android and Apple) is available in 170 countries. Our growing customer base includes leading education institutions, corporations and government departments. We have over 2 million new users each year, and this number will continue to grow.

ACTIVITIES:

Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing based in Singapore, you will work with the Global Development Team to support our continued growth in the region and lead our marketing operations to increase our brand awareness and lead generation in each market, with a main focus on Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia and Thailand. The scope includes designing and implementing marketing processes, being hands-on in working with each Country Manager and producing data to track our performance in this area and identify areas for continuous improvement. You will manage the events, collateral and marketing initiatives required to achieve our growth objectives in Asia.

Commercial and marketing processes:

  • Manage processes to develop marketing initiatives, reach lead-generation targets and guarantee a solid sales pipeline per country through online and offline channels, including eDM, webinars and industry events.
  • Execute internal and external procedures to communicate the above processes, working with Sales Development Representatives, Sales Managers and Country Managers across the region.
  • Proactively report on KPIs to measure the success of marketing in the region

Sales and marketing per country support:

  • Contribute to a global social media calendar with localised social content from your region
  • Develop and deliver compelling online thought leadership webinars with internal and external speakers, panel webinars and external industry events to support sales activity
  • Work with Country Managers to identify and broker marketing partnerships and support in-person sales events
  • Support offline events with top quality collateral, content and branding
  • Create and manage case studies and testimonials for our growing customer base
  • Ensure sales representatives can effectively access, promote and distribute content
  • Support Customer Success colleagues in the region with high-quality collateral that helps encourage usage and adoption of our test

Indicators monitoring, data and feedback:

  • Gather information on key activities and their results from business development team and from our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Produce reports on the success of marketing initiatives, including identifying and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Liaise with the Global Development team to ensure any issues identified are classified and prioritised appropriately

Key skills:

  • Process-driven: You can conceive and implement scalable processes which will deliver tangible impact
  • Tech & Data-savvy: You understand the power of data, how to access and manipulate it, and how to use it to measure the effectiveness of any changes that we make. You have experience using Hubspot for marketing, Zoom and YouTube for webinars and Canva for content creation
  • Excellent communication skills: Able to speak confidently to key customers and provide positive resolutions
  • Self-starter: You will work independently to drive forward our work in this area, working closely with a distributed sales and account management team, and product team. Working between the teams, you will identify areas for improvement and find solutions to address these.
  • Problem-solver: You can work to solve customers’ problems in real-time, drawing on your knowledge of the product and deep understanding of the customers’ needs
  • Fluent in English: (Minimum EnglishScore of 500 - C1 required). Fluent in either Indonesian or Thai
