They work closely with dealers, distributors and trade partners supporting them with innovative products, responsive service and effective sales tools.
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager drives market growth by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and closing sales. This individual is responsible for planning, negotiation, and maintaining a deep understanding of the window and door industry. The role includes managing both existing accounts and developing new strategic partnerships across defined territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of customer relationships, including annual planning, product training, marketing support, and issue resolution.
- Cultivate new business with trade partners aligned with our product offerings.
- Conduct sales presentations and recommend solutions based on client needs and future trends.
- Develop and track a pipeline of opportunities; build accurate forecasts and meet sales targets.
- Deliver clear and compelling product presentations; articulate competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with internal teams across sales, operations, and product development.
- Identify and pursue new sales channels, campaigns, and distribution strategies.
- Ensure showrooms and displays are up-to-date, clean, and represent the product accurately.
- Maintain travel and entertainment expenses within budget.
- Participate in pricing discussions and contribute to solution development.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of sales experience in windows, doors, or building materials
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Analytical thinker with the ability to plan and execute strategically
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience managing complex accounts or territories
- Willingness to travel as needed
