Founded in 2014, we’re a remote-first company with 550+ employees and over 30 OEM and 4,000 dealer partners.

The Remarketing Specialist plays a critical role in reducing company losses and optimizing the resale process of repossessed vehicles. This position requires a blend of analytical, operational, and customer service skills, along with a commitment to precision and continuous improvement. Flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimize net recovery losses by efficiently managing repossessed vehicle inventory and maximizing auction sale returns.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all repossession activities to reduce days to sale.
  • Execute responsibilities in accordance with company competencies, compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection protocols.
  • Communicate regularly with auctions, dealerships, and customers through email and outbound calls to ensure smooth progression through the remarketing process.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and management to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
  • Perform accurate data entry throughout the remarketing workflow, maintaining organized and secure documentation.
  • Review condition reports, market data (including NADA values), and historical sales to determine pricing strategy and assess necessary repairs for increased sale value.
  • Manage title processing and follow-up to enable timely vehicle liquidation.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound communication related to remarketing inquiries and activities.
  • Generate and distribute regulatory notices within policy timelines; ensure all supporting documentation is recorded accurately in the system of record.
  •  Provide courteous, professional service to all internal and external stakeholders with timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with dealers, auction houses, and internal teams.
  •  Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting related to remarketing metrics and performance.
  • Oversee aged inventory concerns, such as sale delays due to title issues, transportation conflicts, legal holds, dealer escalations, repair delays and as situations present themselves.
  • Monitor live auctions, respond to real-time pricing opportunities, and manage counteroffers.
  • Provide onsite support at auction locations when needed.
  • Process and communicate auction sale proceeds accurately.
  • Manage and distribute all relevant daily and weekly team reports.

Requirements:

  •   High school diploma or equivalent required.
  •   Minimum of 2 years’ experience in auto finance or installment loan servicing, with a focus on auction and remarketing operations.
  •   Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field may substitute for required experience.
  •   Proven experience with customer communication and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •   Able to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  •   Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of quickly learning proprietary servicing platforms.

Benefits:

  • Educational Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement up to $3K/year
