For an internationally operating Dutch production & distribution company we are currently looking for a new Application Engineer.
*What will your role be?*
Within the Global IT department, there are 40 enthusiastic and passionate colleagues that ensure that all processes related to production, sales and distribution function optimally. In this position, you act as a point of contact between the end users and the Infrastructure & Services department for the operation of the software within the Business Applications & Processes department. These are applications that intervene in several (primary) business processes, including our own software, our ERP package, and our CRM system.
- You are responsible for the user support and technical management of these applications.
- The processes behind the software have no secrets for you, so you can determine the priorities in the event of incidents.
- You are in charge of the applications and you are in contact with suppliers to solve incidents, implement changes, and plan releases.
Requirements
What do we ask?
Preferably a completed higher education degree in computer science or similar.
You have 3-5 years of experience as an Application Engineer.
You have knowledge and experience with ASL and ITIL principles, and - you also know your way around a scripting language, such as Powershell
The maintenance and management of application integrations will also be part of your work.
Basic knowledge of Azure, DevOps, and SQL is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in setting up integrations between applications, Web methods and LCS is also an advantage.
You are accurate, goal-oriented and draw energy from working together with different colleagues, both from the IT and the business.
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language.
