Summary
The job is for a Research Analyst in the digital asset industry at The Block, a leading research and analysis brand. The analyst will produce deep-dive thematic reports on various digital asset topics, meet deadlines, identify prospective report topics, and perform other tasks related to being part of an early-stage company. The role requires at least a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years experience in digital assets, traditional finance, or data analytics setting, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of the current digital asset ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 2 years experience in digital assets, traditional finance, or data analytics setting
- Knowledge of the current digital asset ecosystem, blockchains, and underlying technological frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Researching various digital asset related topics and synthesizing findings into deep-dive thematic reports
- Meeting research report deadlines and communicating with sponsors/clients
- Identifying prospective report topics and drafting marketing materials to support outbound sales initiatives
- Other tasks related to being part of an early-stage company that receives numerous requests for public appearances, knowledge sharing, and community interaction
Preferred Qualifications
The following professional certifications are a plus: CFA, FRM, Series 7, Series 24, and CPA
