Summary
The job is for a Research Engineer in IoT Security at MachineFi Lab, where the employee will conduct research in multiple IoT security areas, build IoT prototypes and/or products, collaborate with the product team, and engage in industry activities. The candidate should have a degree in computer engineering or a related field, experience working on open-source hardware and security chips, proficiency in programming languages, strong communication skills, and a fast learner of decentralized IoT architecture and blockchain technologies.
Requirements
- A bachelorβs or masterβs degree in computer engineering or a related field, or relevant experience in research and development
- Experience working on various open-source hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.) and security chips (e.g., TPM, secure element, etc.)
- Proficient in at least one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Rust)
- Strong communication, writing and presentation skills and outstanding ability to influence and develop relationships with key business partners
- Fast learner of decentralized IoT architecture and blockchain technologies
Responsibilities
- Lead various decentralized IoT research projects
- Build IoT proof of concepts (PoCs) and/or full-fledged products
- Collaborate with the product team for building innovative MachineFi solutions
- Build MachineFi Labβs long-term vision of powering billions of devices and decentralized applications across the physical and digital world
