Summary
The job is for a professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering or operations to support monitoring services, maintain various externally facing services, improve infrastructure reliability, provide a reliable release pipeline, prevent incidents, make monitoring and alerting more effective, debug production issues, and work with blockchain, Web 3.0, and information security at MachineFi Lab.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Software engineering background or an operations background
- Experience with system architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with distributed systems and container orchestration
- Ability to read and write code
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with information security and DevSecOps
- Experience working remotely in a distributed team
Responsibilities
- Support monitoring services that watch over the entire MachineFi Infra
- Deploy and maintain various externally facing services
- Improve the reliability and observability of our internal infrastructure
- Provide our engineers with a reliable release pipeline and empower them to release and deploy code extremely quickly
- Use your on call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening
- Make monitoring and alerting alert on symptoms and not on outages
- Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
