About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Leonardo.Ai , you’ll be at the forefront of redefining how creative teams discover, adopt, and scale the power of generative AI. Your role is more than pipeline generation. You’ll introduce Leonardo’s cutting-edge platform to innovative companies across gaming, media, advertising, and beyond, helping them unlock new creative possibilities and operational efficiency.
Partnering closely with our Business Development and Success teams, you’ll drive strategic outreach, uncover real customer needs, and shape the early stages of the customer journey. You won’t just be selling, you’ll be enabling design teams to move at the speed of imagination.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, loves experimenting with outbound tactics, and wants to help shape how we engage with creative folks in enterprises across EMEA.
Where You’ll Make Your Mark (and Grow Fast Doing It)
Build and qualify pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, and creative campaigns targeting companies across gaming, advertising, marketing, and other high-growth creative industries.
Lead thoughtful discovery conversations that uncover real customer pain points, ambitions, and workflows.
Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers and Account Executives to share insights and smoothly hand off qualified opportunities that convert.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor moves, and shifts in the creative tech landscape using that knowledge to craft timely, relevant outreach that cuts through the noise.
Help design and refine our outbound engine by contributing to scalable playbooks and evolving our sales development strategy.
Keep your pipeline clean and high-converting by actively managing leads and activity in Hubspot and using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Breeze, and Birdie.
Represent Leonardo.Ai with curiosity, warmth, and professionalism, leaving a lasting first impression and making every touchpoint valuable for the prospect.
These responsibilities will not only contribute to successful sales outcomes but will also play a pivotal role in shaping the business, creating processes, and scaling the Leonardo.ai business in the EMEA Market!
The Skills (and Mindset) We’re Looking For
Direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets
Comfortable with generating and managing large volumes of leads from cold outreaches through email, LinkedIn or just good old hustle.
Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and work in an unstructured environment
Strong understanding of B2B SaaS technology- You understand the SaaS sales cycle, how creative teams work, and what great discovery looks like.
You’re resourceful and proactive comfortable operating in ambiguity and excited to help build the playbook, not just follow one.
No ego, just drive. You have the willingness to do whatever it takes for the team to win
Unreal communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Willingness to travel within EMEA
Experience in AI or solutions targeting a creative industry (Gaming, Marketing, Advertising, etc.) Is not essential but hey, if you have it lets talk asap!
Bonus points if you can speak German or French – not essential, but we’d love it!
