Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking a contract Sales Development Representative to join our team. We are a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company and have provided nationwide services for more than 45 years. This position requires an energetic and motivated candidate with the ability to work in an autonomous setting. We hire intelligent, well-rounded people from a variety of backgrounds.
Location: Washington DC preferred but fully remote is also available
Time: 15-20 hours a week, we are flexible on the exact time and days of the week but between Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm ET
Compensation: $20-25/hour
Experience: 1-3 years of experience
This is a dynamic, part-time contract role ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats. The SDR will work closely with our Business Development Manager and play a key role in both Sales Development and Sales Operations/Enablement. You’ll help keep our CRM (HubSpot) organized and optimized, while also supporting sales outreach, automations, and special projects that help drive business growth. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to multiple aspects of a sales organization and contribute in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads and conduct research to source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and quote requests
- Perform cold and warm outreach through calls and emails to build relationships and generate interest
- Maintain and update data in HubSpot; ensure our sales data is clean, current, and segmented properly for outreach
- Create and manage sales automations and task workflows in HubSpot, including automated email campaigns
- Build simple reports on sales performance and deals to help the team track progress
- Research and identify networking events for the BD team; invite prospects via CRM
- Register the BD team for relevant industry and networking events
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks such as helping the team register for insurance panels or sales platforms
- Support prospecting efforts by researching potential leads online and entering them into the CRM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales ops, or sales development
- Strong experience using HubSpot—a must
- Comfortable with CRM management, segmentation, and sales automations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Interested in learning and supporting a range of sales-related activities, from outreach to operations
