Summary

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our Business Development team remotely. The role involves nurturing prospects through the sales process, conducting lead generating activities, and supporting inbound sales leads among other responsibilities. This internship offers an incredible learning opportunity with huge scope for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Associate's degree (enrolled or completed) in business or similar discipline
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, resilient, results oriented, sharp witted
  • Good talker and listener
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dynamic telephone presence
  • Personable, coachable, and creative

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Business Development team to nurture prospects through the sales process
  • Conduct lead generating activities including outbound calls and emails
  • Assist in the demo creation process (including branded collateral and follow-up materials as needed)
  • Support and follow up inbound sales leads from prospective B2B customers
  • Learn about prospects’ goals and critical pain points
  • Help prospects understand our B2B value proposition
  • Strive to continuously improve the sales process
  • Be a hands-on team member

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Advancement, Giving, and/or Major Gifts is a plus
  • Experience as a student caller (i.e. Phonathon) is a plus
