Job description

Job Title:  Sales Executive

Employment Type:  Full-Time, Regular Hire

Expected Hours:  40 hours per week

FLSA Status:  Exempt, Salary

Work Location:  Fully Remote (within the U.S.)

Base Salary: $80,000 per year

Expected Total Cash Compensation Range: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

Bonus Eligibility:  Yes, incentive bonuses included in the Total Cash Compensation above

Kruze Consulting provides accounting, bookkeeping, finance, payroll, and tax services to over 800+ startups backed by top tier venture capital funds. The Sales Executive will engage with prospective clients who have requested information regarding accounting, tax, and financial services for their venture-backed startup.  They will be the initial contact for incoming new business, conducting introductory calls and preparing service quotes based on the current and projected needs and growth of the prospective client. The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder, an excellent communicator, have a strong ability to prioritize,and be very detail-oriented. Kruze Consulting has a proven track record of developing their employees to their highest potential. NEED TO HAVE/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·3+ years of experience in a direct sales role

·Experience in accounting, selling accounting services to business executives, or have a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting

·Must be willing to work core business hours in their local time zone (approximately 8am to 5pm local time within the U.S.)

NICE TO HAVE/POSITION PREFERENCES:

·Experience in a consulting or outsourced bookkeeping/accounting firm

·Experience in an enterprise SaaS company

·Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM

·A general understanding of the corporate tax filing process

·Experience working with early-stage VC-backed startups

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Inside Sales (90% of the time)

·Achieve and consistently exceed sales goals by closing new business

·Educate and guide prospective customers through their buyer’s journey, to help them learn how Kruze can facilitate their growth and success as a partner on the finance and tax side of the business

·Monitor and nurture inbound leads with follow-ups, and actively reach out to set up introductory calls

·Understand and own the information regarding Kruze’s financial service offerings

·Advise startup founders and operators on accounting & finance problems, and actively recommend solutions

Administrative (10% of the time)

·Provide updates to the Head of Sales and the executive team on the sales pipeline and other key metrics

·Maintain and update records, notes and details within Salesforce with respect to leads, opportunities, and accounts

·Work cross-functionally with our Onboarding, Tax, Accounting, and finance teams—echoing the voice of the customer and providing constructive and actionable feedback to the team

·Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to help refine the sales playbook, run tests, and experiment with new approaches and sales processes.

·Any other duties and tasks to support business needs as directed by management
