Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Engineer / Salesforce Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning components, API integrations, and a solid understanding of Salesforce development best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic team and work on complex, high-transaction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex (Triggers, Classes) to meet business requirements.
- Build and customize Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components to enhance the Salesforce user interface.
- Implement both synchronous and asynchronous processing in Apex, including Futures, Queueables, and Batch Apex.
- Design, develop, and maintain SOAP and REST API integrations with external systems.
- Write and maintain Invocable Apex to enable reusable logic across different parts of the Salesforce platform.
- Participate in Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Utilize CI/CD practices and tools for seamless deployment of Salesforce changes using source control (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
- Leverage the fflib framework for application architecture and improving code maintainability.
- Collaborate on deployments using tools such as Gearset, and manage releases in a complex, high-transaction Salesforce org.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and industry best practices to continually improve the Salesforce platform.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions using Apex Triggers and Apex Classes.
- 3+ years working with Lightning Components (LWC and Aura).
- Strong experience with synchronous and asynchronous processing, including Futures, Queueables, and Batch Apex.
- Proficient in building and maintaining SOAP and REST API integrations.
- Experience with creating and maintaining Invocable Apex.
- Proven ability to work effectively in Scrum teams and contribute to agile processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git, Bitbucket, etc.), and automated testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the fflib framework for Salesforce application development.
- Availability to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ability to be flexible with hours during deployment activities.
- Experience with Gearset for Salesforce deployment and version control.
- Experience working in high-transaction and high-data volume Salesforce environments.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) and Platform Developer II (PDII) certifications are highly preferred.
