About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching the development team, and removing any obstacles that may impede the team’s progress.

You will work closely with the Product Owner, ensuring that the product backlog is properly groomed and that the team is delivers value in every sprint. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach and mentor the development team on agile practices and ensure adherence to the Scrum framework
  • Remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure a clear and prioritized product backlog
  • Track and monitor team velocity and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and help the team evolve their agile practices

Important to know: In the first phase of the project, the work will take place over 4 days at the office in Lisbon, in the Parque das Nações area.

  • Proven +5 years of experience as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment

  • Strong knowledge of the Scrum framework and Agile principles

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to facilitate and mediate team discussions and conflict resolution

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is a plus

  • Experience with PMO project management

  • English level B2 is required

  • Effective or B2B contract, it’s up to you
