About Київстар
We launched in Ukraine on December 9, 1997, after being founded in 1994. As an electronic communications operator, we served 24.3 million mobile subscribers and over 1.1 million fixed internet subscribers as of March 2023.
We provide mobile and fixed services including 4G, Big Data, Cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, and digital television. We also offer converged mobile and fixed services (FMC), industrial IoT, mobile financial services, and Open API solutions, both independently and through partnerships.
We are a subsidiary of Kyivstar Group Ltd, part of the international VEON Group, with shares traded on Nasdaq (KYIV; KYIVW).
Operating in Ukraine for 28 years, we are a major taxpayer and employer in the electronic communications market. Over the last three years, we have directed over 3.4 billion UAH towards supporting defense forces, subscribers, and social projects. By July 2023, we provided almost 1.1 billion UAH in humanitarian aid and invested 6.7 billion UAH in rebuilding and developing our telecom network. Together with VEON, we plan to invest 1 billion USD in telecommunication technologies between 2023 and 2027.
Our tech division, Kyivstar.Tech, develops products such as the FoodTech service-marketplace (Packly), enterprise B2B CRM platforms built on Creatio, and Big Data initiatives.
