As a Senior Manager of Accounting focused on leading the accounting function for the business, you’ll be an essential part of ensuring we produce accurate and timely financials and properly report our performance to management. You will be responsible for leading our accounting team, creating best practices, and developing the accounting function to help us scale for the future. You will collaborate with some of the most intelligent and talented people in the industry. The salary range for this role is $125,000-$140,000 per year.
REQUIREMENTS
Have led a team and the full accounting function, including month-end, tax, annual audit, and management reporting
Experience with inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations
Experience with cash forecasting and management
Creative and an ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes
Experience using Netsuite and with complex financial statements
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years of experience
CPA Required
Experience in a venture-backed or private equity-backed company
WE’D LOVE TO SEE
Experience with credit card based revenue and enterprise invoicing
Experience with Tipalti, Salesforce, and other similar systems
Strong Excel skills and a hands-on leadership approach
Strong GAAP experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading accounting staff, responsible for accounts payable, tax, and billing/receivables
Month-end and quarterly close and all general ledger duties
Reconciling material balance sheet account (inventory, deferred revenue, debt, and similar)
Leading the annual audit
Supporting cross-functional stakeholders with reporting, inquiries, and managing third-party relationships
Produce month-end reporting packages, cash forecasts, and KPI metrics packages for executing management
