We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our experienced and agile team on a long-running, backend-intensive platform that has just entered production but remains in an MVP-driven development phase. The project has been active for nearly 2 years and continues to evolve, with ambitious future plansβ€”including the introduction of blockchain components.

Requirements

Senior Backend Developer

Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success πŸš€

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve backend components of the platform.

  • Drive architectural decisions and tech stack discussions.

  • Deliver production-grade increments each sprint.

  • Consult regularly with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business needs.

  • Support the long-term evolution of the platform, including future blockchain integration.

  • Learn about HyperLedger and gain HyperLedger Fabric Certified Practitioner certification.

Here’s a set of skills we require:

  • Strong experience in backend development, ideally using .NET .

  • Familiarity with PL/pgSQL or other PostgreSQL procedural programming.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based workflows.

  • Proficient in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

  • Comfortable working in agile/sprint-based development with clearly defined deliverables.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally written in Starlark or similar.

  • Ability to debug and contribute to supporting services written in Go, TypeScript, or Rust.

  • Experience with microservice architectures.

  • Ability to propose architecture and tech stack solutions based on business constraints.

  • Comfort working closely with a Product Owner and Delivery Manager.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with or integrating blockchain technologies.

  • Exposure to infrastructure tools like Jsonnet or Starlark.

  • Frontend awareness for full-cycle collaboration.

  3. Meeting with DM – this is a short online conversation to better understand how you work within a team and your approach to project delivery, communication, and collaboration. Duration about 30 minutes.
