Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join its innovative team.
The client is building a mobile-first platform that transforms the agricultural supply chain and logistics management through automation, real-time tracking, and intuitive interfaces. The system connects farmers, logistics providers, and business buyers, offering real-time product tracking, order management, route optimization, and business dashboards.
This role is ideal for a backend engineer with strong Python skills and experience designing scalable, cloud-native systems in production environments. You will be responsible for developing robust backend services, solving complex optimization problems, and ensuring performance and security at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Build and optimize solutions for complex linear/logistics optimization problems
- Develop and integrate secure, reliable RESTful APIs
- Implement and maintain containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure backend systems follow security best practices
- Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain system scalability and reliability
Must-Have Skills:
- 5–10 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience solving linear optimization or related mathematical problems
- Experience with REST API development
- Cloud experience, preferably with AWS
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of backend security best practices
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks
- Experience working in top-tier tech companies (e.g., Google, Amazon, Meta, Uber)
