Summary
Axiom is seeking a senior backend engineer with strong engineering design skills, experience in Rust or similar performant languages, and a security mindset to build Rust-based rollup nodes and sequencers for their zero-knowledge proof based products. The role requires designing secure and efficient systems and making pragmatic technology choices. The office is in NYC but remote work is also possible.
Requirements
- Fluent in Rust, C++, or a similarly performant backend language
- Experience deploying and monitoring high uptime applications to production in the cloud using orchestration and containerization (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Experience working within a large production codebase
- Extremely detail oriented and have a security mindset
- Clear communicator and value collaboration
Responsibilities
Build Rust-based rollup nodes and sequencers to deliver zero-knowledge proof based products on-chain
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with blockchain nodes like Geth, Reth, or similar
- Experience with low-level details of Ethereum
- Experience working in an adversarial or security critical environment
