Job Summary
As a Senior Backend Java (14727), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop software systems supporting Supply Chain services and warehouse management systems.
- Participate in design, architecture and implementation of software systems solving complex problems. Includes defining, scoping and estimating stories and work artifacts.
- Ensure delivery of high quality, scalable, maintainable and well tested code.
- Provide on-call support for systems the team owns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- +7 years of experience.
- Excellent proficiency in Java and Spring boot framework
- Experience with messaging technologies and streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Experience with RESTful architecture and micro services
- Must know modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform)
- Test automation experience at all levels (Unit, Integration, Regression and Performance/Load)
- Familiar with logging and metrics tools (New Relic, Splunk)
- Proficiency with Cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes) GCP is a plus
- Should be able to articulate and architect a well-designed system.
- Familiarity with relational databases is a plus
- Supply Chain experience is a plus
- Understanding of modern warehouse management systems is a bonus
