Challenge
As a Senior Backend Python Engineer you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing new features, maintaining and evolving our integrations with third-party tools, improving automation pipelines, and continuously enhancing platform performance. You’ll work alongside a tight-knit group of senior engineers in an environment that prioritizes clean code, autonomy, and accountability — while strongly supporting cross-team collaboration.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend features using Python
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for content deployment
- Develop and support robust integrations with third-party APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions
- Ensure performance, security, and quality through well-tested, maintainable code
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
- Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern web technologies
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and secure web development
- Strong testing culture with experience writing and maintaining unit tests
- Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership
- It must be okay with some overlap with the US East Coast time zone.
Nice to have
- Kotlin knowlege
- Next.js (Frontend exposure)
- Familiarity with Google Cloud services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Docker and GitHub Actions
