Job description
RYZ Labs is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and collaborate with one of our partners. In this role, you will drive the automation of cloud solutions, develop infrastructure-as-code templates, and optimize processes for efficient resource usage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, focusing on reusable configurations for rapid deployment.
- Implement automation for provisioning, scaling, and disaster recovery with minimal manual intervention using scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Bash.
- Lead cloud-related initiatives, providing technical expertise and aligning goals with cross-functional teams.
- Deploy and refine observability solutions to ensure high availability and proactive monitoring.
- Optimize resource management by retiring unused resources and collaborating on cloud spending transparency.
- Integrate security best practices into infrastructure designs and conduct compliance reviews.
- Stay informed on emerging cloud technologies and propose system enhancements for robustness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Proven expertise with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or related languages.
- Practical experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud expenditures.
- Excellent communication, initiative, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
