Copywriters play essential roles in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. They bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to production and beyond, work that is distinctive, effective and truly remarkable.
As a Senior Copywriter in Amsterdam, you’ll play an essential role in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, experiences, products and more. You’ll use your exceptional creative thought and craft skills to produce transformative work for regional and global clients, working with a team of multidisciplinary creatives within the studio and across the network.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Autonomously lead the development of creative work across a variety of projects and clients, with oversight from an ACD or CD
- Be hands-on with exceptional execution skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Inspire and embrace challenges and new ways of thinking.
- Create and manage original, persuasive, conceptually compelling work for experiences, campaigns, brand identities and digital products.
- Collaborate with teams and colleagues across AKQA network
- Present ideas both internally and externally to senior clients.
- Contribute to thought leadership activities and stimulate professional development and inspiration within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
- 5+ years of relevant creative agency or brand side experience with large global projects/clients
- A portfolio with crafted and globally-recognised brand, campaign and experience work, with case studies of work that had a direct impact on the client’s business.
- Digital product experience as well as through the line storytelling.
- Confident presenter of ideas both internally and to clients.
- Have outstanding written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and interdepartmental.
- Bachelors Degree preferred, but all disciplines welcome.
- You have extensive experience with software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Keynote.
- Natural curiosity that allows you to find inspiration in anything and everything, with an especially keen eye on the future of media and technology.
- You have a drive to break boundaries and craft the best ideas of their kind in the world.
- Possesses excellent writing skill in English.
- Craft-driven in how you execute work, presentations, and creative in general.
