Your Mission
As our Corporate Communications Lead for the DACH region, your mission is to help strengthen Bitpanda’s reputation and brand positioning across German-speaking markets. You’ll drive and localise strategic communications initiatives across PR, media relations, and corporate communications, working in close partnership with global and regional teams. You’ll play a hands-on role in crafting compelling stories, nurturing media relationships, and ensuring Bitpanda’s voice is consistent, impactful, and aligned with our mission to revolutionise personal finance.
What You’ll Do
- Own and execute Bitpanda’s corporate communications strategy for the DACH region, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and resonance with local audiences.
- Manage day-to-day media relations, acting as the primary contact for business, tech, and fintech press in the region, handling both proactive outreach and reactive queries.
- Craft and coordinate high-quality communications materials including press releases, talking points, briefings, and content in both German and English.
- Support local executives and spokespeople with preparation for interviews, events, and panels, while collaborating with global PR and social media teams to ensure message consistency.
- Monitor media sentiment and PR performance, contribute to crisis comms when needed, and partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. legal, marketing, compliance) for accurate and timely rollouts.
Who You Are
- 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media, ideally within fast-paced tech, fintech, or B2C environments.
- Strong knowledge of the DACH media landscape, with existing journalist relationships considered a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, with a talent for storytelling, copywriting, and message adaptation.
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail and accountability.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in fast-moving, innovative environments and is energised by change and disruption
