In just 5 years we have expanded to treat 17+ common healthcare categories, enhanced our diagnosis solutions with rigorous lab testing and expanded our pharmacy network to ship to almost every province in Canada (With the exception of QC and NB).
Over this time, Felix has delivered 24 quarters of consecutive growth in both revenue and profit, making it one of Canada’s fastest growing tech companies.
But more importantly, over 1 million Canadians (and counting!) trust Felix Health for their everyday healthcare needs.
To this end, we see a tremendous opportunity to further accelerate growth - and more importantly - we have big ambitions to build a truly iconic Canadian brand. We’re looking for the right copywriter to help us do just that.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced senior copywriter with a deep understanding of writing, marketing, and creativity to join the Felix brand team. This role will be responsible for establishing Felix’s brand tone of voice, concepting big creative campaign ideas, writing compelling copy for TV, video and static advertising, and ensuring our brand voice shows up across all marketing platforms. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across multiple teams including, Brand Marketing, Design, Lifecycle, and User Acquisition, and be the voice of Felix throughout a patient’s journey.
In this role, you will:
Establish tone of voice, consistent terminology, and POV language for the brand spanning multiple patient touchpoints
Concept big creative ideas for national reach, omni-channel marketing campaigns
Write scripts for both brand & functional level TVCs to serve as the backbone for mass-reach campaigns, digital performance marketing, as well as UGC and influencer marketing
Develop messaging for static and video digital ad creative for always-on digital growth marketing
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership pieces, educational content, and articles addressing patient needs or industry trends
Conceptualize and write copy for lifecycle brand marketing campaigns, including onboarding, retention, upselling, and win-back emails, to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
Work closely with CRO and design to write copy for the Felix website, using best practices for UX combined with marketing flair to improve conversion usability
Incorporate SEO best practices into website copy, blog articles, and metadata to improve search rankings and visibility
Adapt long-form content into bite-sized, engaging pieces for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) keeping in mind platform-specific best practices
Work closely with compliance teams to balance creativity with accuracy and compliance
Contribute to a broader culture of creativity on the marketing team by participating in creative brainstorms and group critiques
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 7+ years of writing experience, including 3+ years of agency experience
Has experience connecting big creative ideas for mass-reach, TV-led ad campaigns
Has experience in highly regulated industries (ideally healthcare)
Holds strong opinions about what separates good from great writing
Has an extremely high bar of quality
Has the ability to switch between long form-narrative, short-form punchy marketing copy
Obsesses over details and has genuine passion for writing and creativity
Is an excellent communicator with creatives and non-creatives alike, and is comfortable and eager to give and receive feedback
Approaches creative problem-solving with a patient-centric mindset
Maintains strict adherence to industry regulations and legal requirements, particularly for all patient-facing materials
Thrives in a fast-paced environment working with a small team
Is kind and empathetic, and genuinely excited about the possibilities in the healthcare space
Has a portfolio that demonstrates relevant writing experience
