Job description
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
- Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines and ETL processes, including data migration scripts and external API integrations using Python.
- Architect and optimize data storage across BigQuery, Redshift, and PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Google Data Form to deliver reliable and automated data workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Create and manage advanced dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate insights, monitor business KPIs, and support strategic decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Improve internal data workflows, analytics tooling, and documentation to support scalable, company-wide data usage.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, including performance optimization and scheduled queries.
- Strong experience with Python for data automation, API ingestion, and pipeline scripting.
- Expert-level Tableau proficiency is essential - for building, optimizing, and maintaining complex dashboards.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler and Google Data Form).
- Good practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and AWS Redshift.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, analytics, and statistical methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
