Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical part in advancing Brightline’s successful launch of key new business initiatives. This role will drive strategic projects uncovering business insights primarily within our commercial and growth marketing functions to influence strategic decisions and enable a culture of data-driven excellence. The role will work closely with leadership and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design scalable reporting models to allow teams to operate more effectively. Examples of data and analytic builds include analysis of marketing effectiveness & CAC, analysis of member engagement via email/SMS campaigns, new client targeting and commercial pipeline analysis, and B2B business reporting.
Responsibilities:
Advanced Data Modeling and Reporting:
Develop and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting systems to provide real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Use dbt to define data models with robust testing.
Strategic Leadership:
Ability to become a trusted strategic partner with leadership across Growth, Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to define analytics priorities and deliver actionable insights that guide business decisions.
Own the commercial data portfolio, working directly with internal and external stakeholders to use data effectively.
Growth Marketing & Commercial Success:
Examples of data and analytic builds include analysis of marketing effectiveness & CAC, analysis of member engagement via email/SMS campaigns, new client targeting and commercial pipeline analysis.
Create a flexible and scalable B2B business reporting suite that promotes the value of our clinical offering to health plans, physician groups, and other enterprise clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely across teams to ensure data is structured and presented in an insightful, actionable way for internal stakeholders.
Work across technical and non-technical teams to solve complex problems.
Communication and Storytelling:
- Ability to distill complex data analyses into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences, and present to external partners.
Requirements:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on delivering insights that inform growth, commercial, product, or operational strategies.
Previous roles in: Business Intelligence, Business Operations, Consulting, or Data Science
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in B2B2C commercial, sales, or growth marketing is preferred. Previous experience at a health startup is a plus.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake), data modeling and testing (DBT), and modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Notebooks).
Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to approach complex business problems with data-driven solutions and align analytics work with strategic objectives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings in a clear and accessible way to both business and technical audiences.
Passion for the Mission: A deep commitment to improving behavioral health care and supporting families in accessing affordable, high-quality care.
Nice to have:
Prior experience with Segment, Amplitude, and/or Iterable
Experience working large commercial and/or sales teams
Experience working with health plans and/or physician groups
Fluency with Python, R, or another language for statistical analysis

Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $140,000-$180,000.
