ELEKS Artificial Intelligence Office is looking for a Data Scientist in Poland or Croatia.
ABOUT PROJECT
Our client is a Germany-based global supplier of pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment, specializing in Bioprocess Solutions and Lab Products & Services.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in the Data Science field
- Strong expertise in both Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following CV tasks: activity detection (HAR), pose estimation/skeleton extraction, hand gesture detection, object localization/re-identification
- Experience with one or more of the following NLP tasks: dictionary learning, information retrieval, LLMs
- Familiarity with contrastive loss, CLIP, and temporal models is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Python for data science and machine learning tasks
- Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel for occasional business trips
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create innovative AI models and algorithms to support smart user guidance systems, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and user experience
- Utilize a combination of CV and NLP methods to analyze visual and textual data, enabling intelligent system responses and feedback
- Build and test proof-of-concept models to demonstrate feasibility, performance, and scalability of AI-driven features
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to align AI development with project goals and system architecture
- Provide input on interface and workflow design to ensure seamless integration of AI components into the user guidance system
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze data to train models, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in real-time environments
- Maintain clear documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results; contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in AI, CV, and NLP to continuously improve solutions and recommend new approaches
