We invite a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale data modernization effort for a major enterprise client. In this role, youβll support the migration and transformation of complex legacy data pipelines to a modern custom-built cloud environment for improved scalability, maintainability, and compliance. Youβll apply DevOps best practices to build reliable infrastructure, drive automation, and support smooth deployments throughout the project.

β Is that you?
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps
- 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience building highly available solutions
- Advanced Terraform skills with 3+ years writing and maintaining custom modules
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Helm, including building GKE from scratch
- Solid CI/CD experience with Jenkins (Groovy pipelines) and GitHub integration
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, cloud networking, Cloud VPN, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on Linux administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with GCP native observability tools (Google Cloud Operations Suite)
- Proven on-prem-to-cloud migration experience
- Excellent communication and team collaboration
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
Desirable:
- Bash/Python scripting skills
- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with security tools (Tenable, Wiz, Carbon Black)
- Experience with Istio service mesh
- Experience supporting data engineering infrastructure, including databases, data lakes, warehouses, and ETL/ELT tools
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot
π§© Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, youβll collaborate with the Data Engineering team on migrating our data platform infrastructure to a centralized GCP Landing Zone.
- Develop and maintain Terraform code for infrastructure deployment on GCP
- Set up, deploy, and support the custom-built GCP Landing Zone environment
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the SDLC process
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to support data migration efforts
- Lead on-prem-to-cloud migration activities
- Configure and support application observability and reliability
- Provide ongoing infrastructure support after migration
