We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior DevOps Engineer to help us take our cutting-edge mobile advertising platform to the next level. Join a supportive and innovative group of DevOps professionals dedicated to delivering next-generation solutions! In this role, you will lead the way in building, optimizing, and maintaining a robust hybrid infrastructure designed to support high-performance, low-latency systems. You will work closely with our software development and product teams to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and reliable, playing a pivotal role in advancing a state-of-the-art advertising ecosystem.

The Customer is a leading US-based provider of advanced solutions for the mobile advertising industry. Their mission is to redefine digital advertising by leveraging AI-driven technology and innovative creative strategies to address the challenges of an evolving digital ecosystem.

PROJECT

The project focuses on building a future-proof mobile advertising platform that thrives in a cookie-less and ID-less environment. By combining contextual intelligence and dynamic creative optimization, the platform delivers engaging, personalized, and scalable ad experiences. Engineering is a key enabler of this transformation. They use state-of-the-art machine learning and DevOps practices to build high-performance, low-latency systems that operate seamlessly across hybrid environments.

Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain a hybrid infrastructure comprising AWS and on-premises environments, ensuring scalability, high performance, and reliability
  • Manage and optimize bare-metal servers and network security appliances for maximum efficiency and security
  • Build and maintain automated workflows using Ansible and Terraform, and develop robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for efficient software delivery
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, Kubespray, Rancher) to support containerized applications across a hybrid environ-ment
  • Manage databases and configure load balancers to ensure high-performance
  • Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana, and man-age logging systems to ensure system reliability
  • Work closely with international teams to improve system architecture, align technical solutions with business needs, and stay abreast of industry trends such as openRTB and AdTech innovations

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in managing scalable, high-performance systems
  • Strong datacenter experience with bare-metal servers (e.g., Dell R series) and network security systems (e.g., Fortinet)
  • Extensive experience with Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS
  • Advanced experience in Ansible and AWS with Terraform as IaC
  • Hands-on experience with On-premise
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, EKS/K8s vanilla based on Kubespray/Rancher
  • Proficiency with nginx and HAProxy
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL systems such as MySQL, Aerospike, Memcache, and Redis
  • Understanding of Hadoop, Spark, and Databricks
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Longhorn
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a highly collaborative inter-national team environment with a heavy remote structure
