We created InfluxDB, a time series platform that collects, stores, and analyzes time series data at any scale. Developers use it to query and analyze time-stamped data in real-time to find insights. We founded the company in 2012 and have raised $171M in funding. We also offer Telegraf, an open source connector downloaded over 5 billion times.

InfluxDB 3.8 is designed for easy deployment, management, and production. It handles millions of time series data points per second and can run in the cloud, on-premise, or at the edge. The platform integrates with over 5,000 other tools and supports various tech stacks and development languages like Python, JavaScript, Go, and C#.

InfluxDB powers real-time data pipelines. It handles high-speed data intake, real-time analytics, automatically moves older data to data lakes, warehouses, and AI/ML pipelines, and compresses files using Parquet.

Organizations use InfluxDB in demanding systems for applications like aerospace telemetry, energy and utilities, and modern data historians. It helps with real-world AI applications by capturing high-resolution time series data for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and autonomous optimization. InfluxDB also helps build scalable systems and infrastructure monitoring solutions, often with Grafana.

We’ve seen over 1 billion Docker downloads of InfluxDB, more than 1 million active open source instances, and over 2,800 contributors. DB Engines recognizes InfluxDB as the #1 time series database. We serve over 2,600 enterprise customers, using InfluxDB for DevOps, IoT, AI, and Data Science.
