About the role
We seek a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Build & Catalog team. As a team member, you will lead the design and development of self-service experiences to connect customers’ workloads to Digibee’s platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including ReactJS, JavaScript (ES2015+), TypeScript, GraphQL APIs, Micro-frontend architecture, and CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components, Emotion, or Stitches. On a typical day, you will…
- Lead the design and implementation of self-service interfaces using ReactJS, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS libraries to deliver an exceptional user experience for our customers
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver seamless integrations with GraphQL APIs
- Develop and maintain a robust frontend testing strategy, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Embrace Micro-frontend architecture principles to enhance the modularity and scalability of the frontend applications
- Optimize application performance and user experience through performance profiling, code optimization, and caching strategies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of frontend applications with the backend infrastructure
- Champion frontend best practices, code quality, and design patterns within the team and participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other frontend engineers to build reusable components and shared libraries to improve development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our technology stack
- Contribute to the overall system architecture and actively participate in architecture discussions-
What you’ll need to bring
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with a focus on ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES2015+)
- Strong proficiency in CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components, Emotion, or Stitches
- Demonstrated expertise in unit testing and testing frameworks for frontend applications
- Familiarity with Micro-frontend architecture and its implementation in large-scale applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to tackle complex challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Babel, or Yarn
- Experience with GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or MobX
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Previous experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
- Active contributor to open-source projects or a strong presence in the developer community
- Knowledge in Container/Docker
