The Role:

You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle of our IAM systems, from design to deployment, ensuring robust security and seamless user experience. Expertise in Next.js, Python, and Auth0 is essential.

This is a fully remote role, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with distributed teams. You’ll participate in virtual meetings, utilize collaboration tools, and maintain consistent communication with team members.

You will:

  • Design and implement advanced IAM solutions using Auth0.
  • Develop complex user interfaces and authentication flows with Next.js.
  • Develop scalable and efficient backend services and APIs with Python.
  • Ensure seamless and secure user access across all applications.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
  • Work with partner teams to assist with unified authorization (authZ) integration
  • Integrate IAM systems with diverse backend APIs and databases.
  • Implement and manage granular role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
  • Optimize IAM system performance and reliability.
  • Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments.

What you’ll need:

  • 5 + years of full-stack development experience, with significant IAM experience.
  • Expertise in Next.js, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
  • Extensive experience with Auth0 and its features.
  • Experience with AWS and building/deploying cloud first applications
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Strong understanding of IAM protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
  • Experience with secure API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of database security and encryption.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with FastAPI, Typescript, Node.js, Terraform a plus!

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

$128,000—$240,000 USD
