Job Description
Overview
As a Senior Level Designer you will work closely with the Game Designers, Narrative Designers, Environment Artists and Gameplay Programmers, and will have a hands-on approach on creating the greybox levels as well as integrating and scripting gameplay elements in the game’s engine, with the end result of outputting compelling levels and / or missions.
Qualifications
Your main challenges will include:
- Adhering to and upholding the level design philosophy upon which the game is being built
- Acquiring a strong grasp of the level design production pipeline
- Directly integrating all gameplay elements (3D geometry, images, animations, sounds, gameplay, etc.) in the engine
- In a level / mission, defining the locations of interactive objects and enemies
- Upholding the project standards in relation to UI signaling or SFX quality
- Double-checking all content added to games to ensure quality and conformity
Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of UE5 and it’s Blueprints scripting
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and game prototype creation
- Passion for video games and their history
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software
- Able to learn how to use new development tools
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the processes involved in creating video games
- Good communication skills and able to work in a team
