The Role

Seed is redefining e-commerce - first in direct-to-consumer, now on Amazon.

Since launching Amazon in February of 2024, Seed has realized explosive growth, with our flagship product climbing as high as #5 in the Probiotics and Nutritional Supplements category. We’ve learned that Amazon shoppers are loyal, cost-effective to acquire, and behave differently than our direct to consumer channel - giving us immense opportunity to innovate in Amazon’s $12B VMS market. That’s where you come in.

Alongside the Director of Amazon, you will lead Seed’s efforts across Amazon Ads products to drive customer acquisition and retention. From Sponsored Products to Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud, you’ll harness all of the tools at your disposal to reach and convert customers on the world’s largest e-commerce platform.

Who You Are

  • You have 8+ years of experience in a performance marketing role with 5+ years of experience focused on Amazon.
  • You’ve owned a six-figure-plus monthly Amazon Ads budget for a large, omni-channel CPG brand(s).
  • You are an Amazon media maestro with a track record of scaling campaigns using multiple Amazon Ads products, including but not limited to Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, Amazon Attribution, and Amazon Marketing Cloud. Experience with Amazon Streaming TV preferred.
  • You have a deep understanding of how Amazon Ads products work together to drive performance, as well as the ability to clearly model attribution across these products.
  • You are a highly effective communicator with the ability to break down complex strategies into clear, actionable plans and measurable results.
  • You have experience collaborating with cross functional stakeholders (such as creative, product marketing, and data analytics teams) to improve performance outcomes.
  • You are a self-starter who is deeply curious about Amazon and the broader retail media landscape.
  • The ideal candidate may also have experience managing additional retail media networks, Google, Meta, or managing other growth marketing programs for Amazon (such as an influencer or affiliate program).
  • Technical Skills: Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, Amazon Attribution, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and Excel/Google Sheets expertise are a must. The ideal candidate may also have experience working with various software solutions to support Amazon media buying (i.e. PacVue, Quartile, Xmars), as well as familiarity with Amazon’s Ads API documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Amazon Performance Marketing: Own the strategy, implementation, and execution of all Amazon channel media to drive awareness, conversion, and retention for Seed products.
  • Budget Allocation: Help determine and effectively allocate budget across Amazon Ads products to drive optimal results.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as ROAS, TACOS, contribution margin, and LTV.
  • Drive Experimentation: Own the roadmap and implement iterative testing across bid strategies, ad formats, creative, and audiences to identify winning tactics.
  • Improve Channel Understanding: Support broader marketing analytics and attribution projects that help Seed understand the impact of Amazon marketing campaigns across retail channels.
  • Stay Relevant: Remain up-to-date on Amazon Advertising trends and best practices. Build relationships with Amazon Advertising representatives to gain early access to betas, tools, and features.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the POC and Seed SME for Amazon performance marketing with Seed’s Amazon vendor.

The annual pay range for this full-time position is $130k-$150k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US). Our pay ranges are guided by discipline, level and experience required. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including: your specific location, desired skills/ technical competency, relevant experience and advanced education/ training.Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, LTD, Mental Wellness, EAP, Wellness Stipend + 401(k) match.
