About Seed Health
We are a microbiome science company that develops applications of microbes for human and planetary health. We work on new microbial discoveries, creating therapeutics, consumer health products, and environmental solutions. We were established in 2016 and work in the biotechnology industry.
Our consumer products are sold under the Seed® brand. Our main product is the DS-01® Daily Synbiotic, a probiotic + prebiotic. It’s designed to support gut, skin, immune, and heart health. The DS-01® uses ViaCap® Technology to deliver 24 live probiotic strains directly to the colon. Over one million people use DS-01®, which has been studied in multiple human clinical trials. We also offer the DM-02, a daily multivitamin.
Beyond human health, our environmental research division explores microbial ways to increase biodiversity and restore ecosystems damaged by human activity.
